ENLIGHT is born on Avenida da Boavista as a development that returns light to the avenue where, in 1986, Fercopor built its first building in Portugal. Thirty-five years later, a new way of living emerges here, in the very heart of Porto, yet with the sea and the nature of the City Park and Serralves close at hand. The name carries a certainty: to illuminate. Across eight floors and 21 homes with south-facing balconies, light is the protagonist. It enters through the glass façades, passes through the horizontal blades that define the building's identity and settles in each unit as the structuring element of daily life. A balance between comfort, privacy and proximity to the soul of the city.

The architecture of ENLIGHT is signed by Architect José Carlos Cruz, who began his career in the same year the promoter built its first building on Boavista: 1986. For ENLIGHT, José Carlos Cruz conceived a façade in which glass is the dominant material and horizontal blades of varying dimensions and thicknesses emerge from the surface. These elements function simultaneously as balconies that extend the interior space and as shading canopies over a south-facing façade, a solution that combines architectural expressiveness and bioclimatic performance with naturalness and rigour. The result is a building that revitalises the modernity and exclusivity of Avenida da Boavista, contributing to the residential renewal of one of Porto's most distinguished thoroughfares.
